Body in the Bunker

From a former detective and cold case investigator comes a twisty, suspenseful mystery perfect for fans of The Thursday Murder Club and Only Murders in the Building.

A body on the twelfth hole. A hidden needle mark. A dead man with no past.

Retired homicide detective Sean Tanner is hoping for a quiet round of golf. Instead, he finds greenskeeper Richard Brown dead on the course—and spots a pinpoint bead of blood on his neck.

The autopsy confirms Sean's suspicion: Brown was murdered.

But Brown is more mystery than victim. Before Spartina Island, his past all but disappears. Worse, his death has a chilling parallel: another unexplained fatality four years earlier.

Sergeant Charlie Nash turns to the Mudflats Murder Club as the similarities mount. Two dead men, four years apart—and the growing suspicion that Brown wasn't the killer's first victim.

The trail reaches into Spartina Island's wealthiest enclaves, toward neighbors who arrived decades ago with untraceable fortunes.

To catch his killer, they'll have to resurrect the man Richard Brown tried to erase—and reopen a case someone killed to keep closed.
