Threefold

From popular YouTuber Haley Newsome (aka LavenderTowne), author of the Eisner-nominated Unfamiliar, comes an imaginative new dark fantasy set in the depths of a mysterious magical forest.

Bramble awakens in a shallow grave in a magical forest, with no memory of how she got there, and discovers that she has been given a second chance at life by the strange power of the forest, a loan she must repay by healing the creatures who live there. The only catch is that she must never use her power to harm a living thing, or she’ll pay a terrible price.

With only a tattered old book and a strangely talkative raven to guide her, she attends to the wounds and illnesses of the shadowy creatures of the deep woods. This new life is challenging but peaceful enough, until she encounters a monster hunter from a distant village.

In a moment of panic, she lashes out at him with her power and finds herself cursed. Now on borrowed time, she must find someone to take over her job before she is returned to the soil…
