House of Summer Magic

After the death of her mother, a newly minted witch must work together with her estranged half-sister to stop an ancient prophecy from destroying their charming English village in this cozy fantasy that’s Practical Magic and Gilmore Girls meets Lynn Painter.

When nineteen-year-old Cassie Weyward’s estranged mother dies, Cassie is stunned to discover she’s been left a valuable share in Beacon Brook, the family mansion. The only condition: to claim her inheritance, Cassie has to spend the whole summer living there with Celeste—the half-sister she never knew existed, and who apparently hates her.

The situation is complicated enough, and that’s before Cassie finds out she’s the last in a long line of powerful witches, one half of a centuries-old prophecy, and in a fated-mates situation with Luc, a gorgeous and very grumpy vampire. Oh, and her house is made of magic and determined to play matchmaker.

As the hottest summer on record blazes on, and her love life heats up, Cassie is forced to make some difficult choices if she wants to truly mend bridges with Celeste and unlock the secrets surrounding her family.

But how will the story end when the prophecy turns out to have been a curse all along?
