A girl tries to teach her dog to follow other, better behaved pets’ example in this hilarious and rhythmic picture book about the perfect friendships that tie together imperfect friends.
A little girl is at her very wit’s end with her very big, very sweet, very lovable but not very well-behaved dog. If only he wouldn’t make such messes! Or cause such stresses! Or dig up the yard or chase after cars or, worst of all, EAT HER BURGER!
She tries to show him how not to be bad. See how still this goldfish sits or how this bunny plays dress-up? Those are good dogs! But when she really thinks about it, does she really want her dog to change? After all, he may not be good, but that doesn’t mean he’s not the best!
