Great Burglary Blunder

Butterbean’s attempt to steal back her missing ball launches the pet friends into their most chaotic, high-stakes mystery yet in this latest hilarious companion novel in the illustrated middle grade The Great Pet Heist series.

Stolen! That’s what Butterbean is sure has happened to her favorite red squeaky ball. So when she spots something round and red through the open door of another apartment, she’s sure it’s her ball. And she doesn’t hesitate to steal it back. There’s just one problem: it isn’t her ball. Even worse, it’s not a ball at all—it’s a fancy box with an expensive item inside. An item that the mysterious owner will do almost anything to find.

The animals scramble to fix the situation, coming up with Plan A, Plan B, and even Plan L. After all, they’ve built a reputation for being Secret Investigators and Secret Spies—they should be able to solve this mystery! But until they do, Butterbean has a target on her back…and no one in the apartment is safe.
