Leaf It to Me!

A chipmunk who likes to keep things neat frantically tries to rake up fallen leaves—only to learn one chipmunk’s mess is another animal’s treasure—in this silly autumnal picture book read aloud about perfectionism, nature, and leaf-ing things be!

Chipmunk’s perfect forest world is rocked one morning when she goes outside and sees leaves fallen everywhere! What a mess! With her trusty broom and can-do attitude, Chipmunk says, “Leaf it to me!” She tidies up around her little log house, her bear neighbor’s den, and everywhere else leaves are falling, but there always seem to be more! When Chipmunk finally takes a break, she learns that even messy leaves have a purpose in nature and sometimes it’s better to leaf things be.
