Astray, Vol. 1

Girl meets alien in this interstellar adventure to save the cat!

Uni is an experienced odd-jobber, bouncing from gig to gig to make ends meet for herself and her beloved cat, Sal. But the oddest job of all comes when a mysterious masked alien kidnaps Sal and accidentally transports the three of them across the stars!

After an incident involving a flying bike, free ice cream, and an attempted catnapping, Uni, Sal, and the alien mercenary Verz are suddenly stranded in a distant galaxy. Verz reveals that he was hired to find Sal's unique genetic code, which has the potential to save countless lives—but out of fuel and out of options, he asks Uni for help to finish his mission and get them home again. For gas money, Uni and Verz jump into the interstellar gig economy, which has them crossing paths with tea makers and galactic royalty alike. But Uni soon discovers the mercenary might still have a few secrets he’s still hiding…
