There's a Crocodile on This Train!

All it takes is one small voice to make space for everyone on the train.

All aboard! The morning train is bustling with passengers chatting, laughing, and telling their favorite jokes—until a great green crocodile squeezes into the car. Everyone grumbles, but no one dares to say a word… except a tiny chick named Peep.

With a brave heart and gentle manners, Peep steps forward to talk to the newcomer—and discovers that the crocodile isn’t scary at all, just shy and kind. Together, they show the other passengers that when we treat others as we wish to be treated, amazing things can happen.

Told in lively rhyme with bright, whimsical illustrations, There’s a Crocodile on This Train! celebrates courage, empathy, and the Jewish teaching from Pirkei Avot (2:10): “May the honor of your fellow be as precious to you as your own honor.”

A perfect read-aloud for classrooms, family story time, or any journey that invites new friends along the way.
