Pagan Portals - Badb

Exploring the stories and beliefs of Badb, Irish goddess of war and prophecy.

Badb is one of the three Morrigan sisters and a powerful figure in her own right, a goddess of war and of prophecy. This book explores what is known about Badb in mythology and modern belief, untangling the truth from the often confusing misinformation about her, and offering readers a guide to understanding who she was and is. Her connections to certain fairies, including the Bean sidhe and battlefield spirits, will also be discussed, as well as her appearances across different myths. Is she a distinct being who belongs to a triad called the three Morrigans or is she one face of a single being? What is her connection to Nemain? How can someone today connect to her as a goddess? We will explore all of this and more in Pagan Portals Badb.
