Matter of Murder in the Dales

The third in the escapist cosy crime series set in the small town of Heft, featuring Police Sergeant Ali Wren and her canine partner, Police Dog Wilson the springer spaniel, as they investigate disturbing deeds in the Yorkshire Dales.

Police Sergeant Ali Wren doesn't like the look on the face of the farmer pulling a truckload of manure outside the small town of Heft.

When she finds the load's been dumped on a house next to the small shops on Heft's idyllic High Street, the mystery deepens.

But her springer spaniel Police Dog Wilson's discovery of bones on a nearby estate, formerly a maternity hospital, means a bigger investigation.

All Ali's knowledge of her community – and Wilson's skills – will be needed to solve this one.
