Along the River of Flesh

Splatterpunk Award-winning author Kristopher Triana returns to the story of Edmund Cox in this thrilling sequel to the indie horror sensation Gone to See the River Man.

Serial killer Edmund Cox returns to his hometown of Killen after escaping from prison. With his "darlings" in his pocket, he enters the woods to begin a new quest along the Hollow River to make good on one final deal with the notorious River Man.

But Edmund has more to worry about than what lurks in the woods. Keith Drakeson, a police detective who hunted Cox the first time around, has teamed up with Gary Chatmon, a private investigator looking for a missing woman he believes is one of Cox's victims. Keith has a bone to pick, while Gary is working on a hunch, but all signs point to Killen and The River Man.

Gary and Keith soon encounter a teenage runaway with a backpack full of articles on Cox. As the three travelers head upriver, they each carry their own dark secrets. But nothing could be darker than what awaits them.

Along the River of Flesh picks up right where Gone to See the River Man leaves off, building upon the terrifying world of The River Man and the miserable souls who dare to find him.
