Advent of the Messiah: Finding Peace, Love, Joy, and Hope in a Modern World

The Season of Advent. What does it mean for the 21st Century Christian? In this new devotional by Pastor Tony Turner, he examines the season through the eyes of a modern day Believer. While pulling from the traditional symbolism celebrated throughout the centuries in the Catholic church, Turner sheds light on how the season is relevant and meaningful for the seeking Protestant. Designed as a life-applicable devotional, this study provides Christians with a glimpse at how the real reason for the season is a combination of both the celebration of the birth of Christ and the expectation of his return. Turner helps the seeking believer identify the joys of knowing peace year-round, rather than observing peace from afar during the chaotic Christmas season. The Advent of the Messiah is a must-have devotional for Christians from across the board who seek to grow in their walk - all while understanding the true meaning of the Season of Advent.
