Drawing on careers in archaeology, clinical practice, and ethnographic fieldwork, Marcom frames his journey from suburban Colorado to the Ecuadorian Amazon, guided by synchronicity. He participates in ayahuasca ceremonies, teaches English in the remote community of Mashiant, and documents the ecological knowledge embedded in Indigenous practice.
